Golden Hour Interior

What makes an image feel real? That was the question at the center of this project, which I developed during my third semester as part of a CGI module at university. Through research and experimentation, I found that photorealism and realism are not the same thing. To explore this idea, I worked from a reference photo of a Berlin apartment — a space that caught my eye right away for its warm sunlight and the beautiful texture of its parquet floor.
