What gives a project its identity before the first frame is even seen? This question guided my work on developing the logo and animation for Fünf Würfel, a student film group I’m part of. The process began with designing a logo that reflects both the name and the collaborative nature of the group. The idea of “five dice” comes from the game Kniffel, which we often play together, and became a starting point for this animation.

Building on this foundation, I created a logo animation that introduces the group with a subtle sense of motion and timing. Rather than aiming for something overly complex, I focused on clarity and rhythm, allowing the logo and the animation to feel calm, precise, and cinematic.
