Fünf Würfel intro animation

What gives a project its identity before the first frame is even seen? This question guided my work on developing the logo and animation for Fünf Würfel, a student film group I’m part of. The process began with designing a logo that reflects both the name and the collaborative nature of the group. The idea of “five dice” comes from the game Kniffel, which we often play together, and which became a starting point for this animation. Rather than aiming for something overly complex, I focused on clarity and rhythm, allowing the logo and the animation to feel calm, precise, and cinematic.
